Hi! I’m Nitza.
Founder of Wingsong Soaps.
I’d like to share my joy of handmade soaps with you. I didn’t always use handmade soaps. Like many people I purchased my soaps at the store not giving much thought other than it had to smell nice.
It wasn’t until I tried handmade soap for the first time that I realized I could never go back to commercially made cleansing bars they call soaps. Not only had I been missing out on the wonderful skin-loving benefits of these soaps but also the luxurious experience I enjoyed daily. Truly a spa moment in every bath.
The soaps you’ll find in Wingsong Soaps are all handmade in small batches. Soaps are hand swirled and poured into each mold, then hand cut and placed aside to cure. Each bar needs to cure for approximately 4 – 6 weeks. Ingredients are purchased from the up most reputable suppliers who are mindfully aware of environmental concerns and cruelty free issues.
You will find soaps that are vegan friendly as well of palm free soaps. Palm oil is a wonderful ingredient in soaps, producing nice lather and creaminess. However, unfortunately, not all palm oil is cultivated responsibly. Therefore, I purchase it from a suppliers who associated with members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), an organization that supports sustainable palm oil production.
I regularly introduce new lines of soap. Since it takes so long for them to cure you won’t get to see what I’m working on until it’s available in the website. So glad for social media! I do post my upcoming soaps on Instagram and Facebook. I encourage you to “like/follow” me so that you can see what I’m working on.
And of course, I always love to hear from you.
